Hajra Ahmad (b. 1985)
Hajra Ahmed’s work consists of the mundane everyday objects around us that
make our world; objects or images that we see but do not register because they
are always there, they don’t take us by surprise. Having traveled extensively since
a young age he has been fortunate to interact with various cultures and develop
an understanding of varied personalities. His style of telling a story through
images taken at different places may at first appear disconnected, but the inherent
similarity underlying the images connects them up to make an integral whole, a
complete story.
