Established in the year 2009, The Faraway Tree Gallery is committed to promoting quality
Contemporary Art by Indian artists. Since its opening, the gallery has held several, acclaimed exhibitions
of established as well as upcoming younger generation artists. Noteworthy among them are the
Retrospective Exhibition of artist RB. Bhaskaran, January 2010 and the Silver Anniversary Exhibition of
the Association of British Scholars, August 2010, which showcased works of South Indian artists who
have travelled to the UK on scholarships/travel grants from the British Council and the ABS. In January
2011, the gallery showed works of Aparajithan Adimoolam, Ebenezer Singh and Natesh Muthusamy,
artists of the new milieu.
The Faraway Tree Gallery shows exceptional artists, providing clients and collectors access to
some of the best quality Contemporary Indian art. The gallery also offers limited edition prints of well
known Indian artists.
The gallery has shown highly respected artists, some of whom are Akkitham Narayanan, RB
Bhaskaran, KM Adimoolam, Muralidharan, Jatin Das and RM. Palaniappan among others. The younger
generation artists who have been shown include Aneesh KR, Aparajithan Adimoolam, Bibekananda
Santra, Ebenezer Singh, Farhad Hussain, John Tun Sein, Natesh Muthusamy, Pradeep Puthoor, Sanatan
Saha and Suresh Panicker.
